Medicinal donations

  1. The medicine must be listed on the national “list of essential drugs”; the receiver must have a permission to import medicine; customs and other taxes must be paid by the receiver (normally no customs are paid on donations)
  2. Medicine will only be donated, provided the receiver declares, that the medicine, from a professional judgement, will be used within expiry date
  3.  The medicine must be handled by skilled persons, a log of the medicine must be kept, if the medicine is not used within expiry date, it must be destroyed in a proper way, destruction certificate must be issued

Hospital equipment

  1. Equipment is supplied in a functional condition. The recipient must be capable of operating and repairing the equipment, and spare parts must be available.
